Inquiry opened into the making of toys and associated small worlds
An exploratory allocation has been approved for the making of toys, following several evening demonstrations at the Sestaferia premises in which the invited persons continued their play well beyond the hour appointed for assessment, the same being regarded as a favourable indication. The objects so demonstrated were borrowed, and are to be returned in due course. The question of producing something of our own has accordingly been entered for study under the heading of domestic amusements and miniature world construction.
A small working collection will be assembled to examine these possibilities prior to any commitment in respect of tooling or manufacture. Contributors possessing experience in miniature environments, automata, or other ludic apparatus are cordially invited to submit a specimen, accompanied by instructions sufficient for an unfamiliar person to commence play without further assistance. Wherein the enjoyment of the same depends upon the presence of the inventor's associates, the attendance of such persons should be included within the proposed demonstration arrangements. Specimens shall remain the property of their contributors and will be returnable upon application.
